About Elizabeth

Based in Newtown in Sydney's inner west, Elizabeth has years of experience in cake decoration. She specialises in wedding cakes, birthday cakes, children's cakes and novelty cakes and loves the creative challenge of bringing people's ideas to life.

Elizabeth began her study of cake decorating 35 years ago in Auckland, New Zealand and has continued to develop and refine those skills since then. By keeping up with changing trends in decorating styles and especially new techniques, Elizabeth is consistently able to achieve spectacular results.

A few years spent in the UK gave an opportunity to broaden her experience and since moving to Australia in 1988 she has been delighting friends and clients with custom cakes.

Elizabeth's talents are not only appreciated by her happy customers, she has also been successful in competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Cake Decorators Guild of NSW.

Attending seminars and workshops with visiting overseas decorators sponsored by Sydney's Iced Affair has given Elizabeth valuable insights into cutting edge professional techniques and ideas which she has incorporated into her work with beautiful results.

Over the years Elizabeth has also run a successful garden design business and believes that the key to a happy outcome in any field lies in good consultation and listening closely to what the client wants.
